You are warmly welcome to visit the whole DFKI exhibition too. \n\n\n\n\nVisit DFKI for full Programme\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nHannover Messe\n\n\n\nTransfer of control in distributed Industrie 4.0 applications – What if robots call for help? \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDFKI & RICAIP: TRACTAT\, CAMELOT \n\n\n\nWednesday\, 14 April 2021\, 11:00 – 11:25 a.m. \n\n\n\nDr. Tilman Becker\, Director RICAIP-Research and Innovation Centre on Advanced Industrial Production\, CzechTechnical University in Prague \n\n\n\nDr. Tim Schwartz\, Senior Researcher and Head of the Human-Robot Communication Research Group\, DFKI \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAutonomous robots are also expected to be used\, for example\, as transport robots in industrial scenarios. Unlike rigidly programmed systems\, they can adapt their behavior to current conditions and change their route if obstacles block the way. If they get into situations for which they cannot find a solution themselves and need outside help\, they initiate a transfer of control (ToC). The technology is being addressed in the TRACTAT project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and its successor CAMELOT\, and is finding influence in the German-Czech EU project RICAIP\, where it is being extended to include aspects of distributed production. Explain important aspects for the choice of the final solution\, which will be feasible in practice and economically advantageous. It will point out the most common mistakes made by manufacturing companies in the implementation of digital technologies in practice. \n\n\n\nPavel Burget and Petr Kolář will present how in practice companies can test data collection and process the obtained data into meaningful information in test conditions in Testbed for Industry 4.0 CIIRC CTU before implementing the necessary technologies in their company. They will present several successful examples of data collection and evaluation from practical machines. \n\n\n\nPetr Kadera will explain how it is possible to use machine learning methods to replace the routine work of operators and achieve a significant streamlining of production. It will acquaint you with the possibilities of data sharing in an international environment while maintaining their sovereignty and security.
