DESCRIPTION:The 31st Japan International Machine Tool Fair – JIMTOF 2022 in Tokyo\, is one of the largest machine tool exhibitions in the world\, organized by the Japan Machine Tool Builders’ Association and Tokyo Big Sight Inc.. The RICAIP Testbed for Industry 4.0 at the Czech Institute of Informatics\, Robotics and Cybernetics CIIRC CTU in Prague will be presented at the joint Czech booth managed by CzechInvest and Czech booth organised by CzechInvest and SST – Association of Engineering Technology. The focus will be made on introduction of the research infrastructure and equipment of particular workstations as well as industrial demonstrators and services provided to the industry. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe number of exhibitors at JIMTOF 2022 stands at 1\,086 companies from 22 countries and regionsaround the world with 5\,619 booths. There are 95 booths more than at JIMTOF 2018\, making JIMTOF 2022 the largest ever exhibition in the history of JIMTOF.

Moreover\, It Is facing substantial transformation changes connected with the implementation of the EU Green Deal.Large volumes of data produced during the manufacturing process as well as data collected during vehicles lifetime\, represent an immense source of information for all the stakeholders involved in the ecosystem. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis session will bring on stage knowledgeable representatives from the automotive industry and research that will elaborate on their most promising results on data management and data processing to face the challenges of the manufacturing in the near future. Their ideas leverage and extend the Industry 4.0 principles with the focus on automotive industry needs. \n\n\n\nThe role of BDVA\, IDSA\, Catena-X on one side and CLAIRE and ELLIS on the other will be documented. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe current trends in the second decade of the Industry 4.0 initiative will be highlighted and discussed\, namely the massive deployment of AI and needs in well-structured and standardized data spaces. AI is used to achieve the new goals (e.g.\, energy efficiency\, explainable AI for human-robot collaboration and integration\, zero-error production). SUMMARY:RICAIP Testbed Brno - Ceremonial Opening
DESCRIPTION:Our RICAIP Testbed Brno is part of the international research centre RICAIP – Research and Innovation Centre on Advanced Industrial Production\, based on a strategic partnership of the leading Czech research institutions CIIRC CTU\, CEITEC BUT and the German DFKI (Deutsches Forschungzentrum für Kunstliche Intelligenz) and ZeMa (Zentrum für Mechatronik und Automatisierungstechnik).  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe event is part of the RICAIP Brno Opening\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter its completion in 2022\, the RICAIP Brno Industry 4.0 Testbed with a total area of ​​420 m2 will be open to internal and external users from the academic and industrial spheres. The testbed will significantly contribute to the digitization of industrial production in the Czech Republic and support the introduction of research results in the field of artificial intelligence into industrial practice by using virtual and augmented reality.  \n\n\n\n\n\nThe opening of the testbed at CEITEC BUT follows this April’s start of operation of the RICAIP Prague Testbed\, which took place at CIIRC CTU.
