DESCRIPTION:With live system demonstrations\, numerous exhibitions and a one-day programme of events\, RICAIP partner DFKI presents the current state of research and the potential use of AI technologies in production\, administration\, agriculture\, medicine\, education and environmental and climate protection. \n\n\n\nIn the live system demonstrations\, our scientists show application scenarios of human-robot collaboration in industrial production\, customisable safety concepts for manufacturing companies and robots with tactile sensor technology. The exhibits demonstrate\, among other things\, industry-independent intelligent knowledge services and AI assistance in company processes\, aspects of automated driving and the use of augmented reality in company training. \n\n\n\nA live link to the Maritime Exploration Hall at DFKI in Bremen offers an insight into the test basin for underwater robotics\, where autonomous maritime systems are tested under realistic conditions. \n\n\n\nIn the field of intelligent healthcare systems\, AI makes it possible to predict the condition of intensive care patients. Artificial intelligence as an integral part of environmental technologies makes it possible to visualise and measure plastic pollution in rivers and on coasts. SUMMARY:Digitalisation: Trends & Practice
DESCRIPTION:The digitisation and automation of production has been a key theme resonating across manufacturing sectors recently. Is its introduction into manufacturing just a competitive advantage or is it now an absolute necessity for successful business development? \n\n\n\nAs part of the Digital Czechia Week\, CEITEC BUT\, one of the four RICAIP core partners\, together with other institutions – namely EDIH DIGIMAT\, API\, CzechInvest\, EuroCentrum and Europe Direct – are organising a conference entitled “Digitisation: Trends and Practices” on 23 November 2023 in Brno. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event will present the latest trends in digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence in industry. We will hear practical experiences of implementing the digital factory concept. Companies will be able to consult their business ideas and projects on the spot with CzechInvest\, API and TAČR. Special attention will be paid to the panel discussion where we will open the topic “digitalization as an opportunity for companies” with representatives of industry and a top representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. \n\n\n\nThe programme will also include a tour of the RICAIP Testbed Brno with expert commentary by our researchers and an offer of cooperation on experiments and tests\, for which we can provide a 100% financial contribution to companies with up to 499 employees thanks to the EDIH-DIGMAT project. \n\n\n\n\nRegister by 21 November 2023 HERE\n\n\n\nLinkedIn Event
