SUMMARY:MSV International Engineering Fair 2024
DESCRIPTION:For the third time\, RICAIP Testbed Prague is joining the joint exhibition of the National Centre for Industry 4.0 and its key partners at the International Engineering Fair in Brno – MSV Brno 2024! We have prepared a range of technology demonstrations\, innovations\, and industry-focused solutions for visitors. Our showcase will feature a wide array of technological advancements and opportunities that help manufacturing companies thrive in the digital age. \n\n\n\nWhen: October 8 – 11\, 2024 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMWhere: BVV – Brno Exhibition Centre: Digital Factory 2.0\, Hall F\, Booth 220 \n\n\n\n\nWhat you will see at the booth\n\n\n\nCome and try: WorkshopSpace\n\n\n\nRegistration for WorkshopSpace\n\n\n\nConferences & Lectures\n\n\n\nHow we can assist you\n\n\n\nHow you can collaborate with us\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy International Industrial Fair and why a shared booth with other partners?\n\n\n\n\n\nCollaboration is key to overcoming complex challenges. By connecting with a network of partners\, we bring new benefits to our clients\, creating a rich ecosystem of expertise and knowledge. This message is something we aim to convey through several dozen square meters of our booth at International Industrial Fair. Together\, we offer innovative solutions that surpass the capabilities of individual partners\, technology suppliers\, and equipment providers. Our customers gain a clear vision of how to tackle their challenges\, which may vary in complexity. At the end of this journey lies the tangible advantage of implementing innovations\, improving processes\, or taking a significant step forward in digitalization. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur teams at CIIRC CTU have developed the booth’s technological concept\, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with the slogan “Better through Cooperation.” The Industry 4.0 demonstrations will showcase various partners from the commercial and academic spheres working together. We aim to introduce our testbed to potential new partners and clients as a place\, a platform\, where different entities\, ideas\, and opportunities converge\, turning into concrete solutions for the Czech industry. \n\n\n\nYou will see a range of new technological demonstrations for industrial robotics\, flexible manufacturing\, 5G IoT\, and more. Don’t miss the opportunity to engage in direct consultations with our experts and experience some technologies firsthand by participating in interactive workshops. \n\n\n\n\n\nOn three separate robotic cells\, connected via a data collection and analysis system\, you will be able to observe energy and data flows in real-time. This is made possible through a compact 5G IoT modular system\, which integrates energy consumption data across the entire exhibition. The transmission takes place via a 5G SA private campus network\, including continuous monitoring of 5G signal quality. For battery-powered IoT devices\, we will present a new concept of a compact flow meter for measuring water consumption using NB IoT communication technology. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat you will see at the booth\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFlexible Modular Robotic Cell: Retrofitting Battery Modules \n\n\n\nThis is a scaled-down model of an autonomous modular factory that adapts to changing production conditions. In just a few square meters\, we demonstrate the key principles of modern\, flexible\, and sustainable manufacturing of the 21st century. We combine cutting-edge technologies and processes: intelligent collaborative robotics\, data communication via a 5G network\, edge computing\, AI algorithms\, computer vision\, and autonomous control. All this is showcased through two KUKA collaborative robots that\, without human intervention\, exchange components and perform retrofitting on used battery modules\, demonstrated on a scaled model of an electric vehicle battery. In real applications\, these battery modules can continue to serve as large-capacity stationary batteries for homes or businesses. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLearn more about the Flexible Modular Robotic Cell\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIndustrial Metaverse: Autonomous Manipulation Robotic Cell \n\n\n\nThe industrial metaverse is essentially an extended virtual reality that allows for the creation of a digital twin of a physical factory\, machines\, and products. It enables optimization of production processes\, acceleration of product development\, and enhanced collaboration between teams and robots. We demonstrate its potential with an autonomous manipulation robotic cell featuring a KUKA robot\, performing precise pick-and-place operations\, driven by advanced 6D position estimation using computer vision. The cell is virtually operated in Siemens’ Tecnomatix Process Simulate with integration into Nvidia Omniverse\, allowing AI model training for object recognition and manipulation\, and automated generation of end effectors through 3D printing. It’s also available in VR. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLearn more about the Industrial Metaverse\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSustainable Manufacturing: 5G IIoT and Machine Data Collection for Energy Consumption Monitoring \n\n\n\nData is all around us\, but how can we collect\, analyze\, and use it to boost manufacturing efficiency\, reduce costs\, and enhance sustainability? At our stand\, you’ll see this in real-time thanks to a compact modular 5G IIoT system\, integrating energy consumption data across our entire display. Data transmission occurs over a 5G SA private campus network\, with continuous monitoring of the 5G signal quality. A new feature is the NB IoT technology for water consumption measurement using a compact flowmeter\, ideal for battery-powered devices. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLearn more about 5G IIoT\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRobotic Beer Dispenser 2.0 \n\n\n\nOur new Robotic Beer Dispenser 2.0 is fully automated and ready for continuous\, unattended operation. It can pour four beers simultaneously and is equipped with AI to adapt to its surroundings and optimize energy consumption. Thanks to sensor feedback\, the robot can actively adjust its movements while pouring beer. Advanced data analytics intelligently manage cooling and predict failures. Age verification can be ensured through facial recognition\, making subsequent purchases automatic. This dispenser represents a cutting-edge solution for sustainable and smart beverage service using the latest technologies. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLearn more about Robotic Beer Dispenser 2.0\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n3D Object Reconstruction \n\n\n\nWe showcase how 3D object reconstruction aids in safely detecting objects for precise manipulation in unknown or changing environments. We developed an accessible and efficient device capable of spherical scanning using a standard RGB camera. The images are processed by our software into a 3D representation\, allowing object detection\, position estimation\, and manipulation. We use an advanced 3D reconstruction algorithm that combines the power of computer graphics (Volume Rendering) and machine learning to create a 3D scene representation. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLearn more about 3D Object Reconstruction\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExperience Firsthand at Our Booth: \n\n\n\nRICAIP WorkshopSpace: An Interactive Experience with Advanced Technologies\n\n\n\n\n\nAt the exhibition stand\, we’ve created an interactive space for continuous or recurring workshops for small groups\, led by experts from RICAIP Testbed Prague\, CIIRC CTU\, CTU’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering\, and Siemens.
