The Brno University of Technology (BUT) is the largest technical university in the Czech Republic. It is one of Europe’s elite technical and research universities. BUT has a vibrant tradition and was founded in 1899. The university consists of 8 faculties and three university institutes. It covers a broad range of technical science. It is one of the major research institutions in the Czech Republic with more than 2000 PhD students and 1000 academics staff.

Brno Testbed

The new Industry 4.0 testbed facility will deepen opportunities in the already established research focus on cybernetics and robotics, smart sensors, advanced control technologies, and their industry applications.

Brno testbed is located in an industrial hall within the Brno University of Technology campus and is being currently under the construction.
