On May, 08th and 09th 2019, the ZeMA – Center for Mechatronics and Automation Technology organized the annual Montage-Tagung in Saarbrücken, Germany. The 11th Montage-Tagung was opened by the federal prime minister of the Saarland, Tobias Hans.
This industry conference approaches topics on production processes and technologies. New technologies as well as topics such as artificial intelligence, human-robot-collaboration, digital planning and assistance systems in production environments have been presented and discussed. Renowned speakers from companies like BMW Group, Bosch Rexroth, Daimler, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, KUKA Systems, MAN SE, Robert Bosch, Siemens, VW und ZF Friedrichshafen held informative and trend-setting presentations on the latest trends and developments for producing companies.
Besides the presentations and networking, the conference offered a trade fair where various companies and projects presented practical examples from the industrial production. The RICAIP project was included into the robotics cluster of ZeMA, featuring different demonstrators as well as other regional and EU-funded projects.
