RICAIP Days 2026

This event is organised by RICAIP partners

Europe stands at a crossroads: AI systems are no longer limited to digital spaces but are increasingly embedded in machines, factories, infrastructure and human dynamically changing environments. This event has the ambition to explore how the Czech Republic together with Europe can follow this transition in a human-centric, resilient and economically meaningful way.

RICAIP Days 2026 is a two-part event combining a European-level strategic conference with a practice-oriented Open Day for companies. Together, they showcase RICAIP’s results, impact and future relevance, while creating space for new collaborations, industrial uptake and expert-driven agenda setting.

RICAIP Days 2026 bring together the European research, industrial, and policy communities to showcase the achievements of the RICAIP project and to explore the next frontier of AI and robotics in manufacturing and beyond. The event is structured in two complementary parts:

  • RICAIP Project Final Conference 2026, a high-level strategic forum highlighting project results, demonstrators, and the future of human-centric, resilient Industrial AI;
  • Tech Dating 2026 at CIIRC CTU, an open, consultation-oriented day for companies, organised together with EDIH CTU and TEF/AI-MATTERS and other partners incl. CzechInvest and the National Centre for Industry 4.0, focused on practical adoption, testbed services, and one-to-one expert guidance.

Together, RICAIP Days provide a unique platform to celebrate the project’s impact, engage stakeholders in Europe-wide collaboration, and identify new opportunities at the intersection of advanced manufacturing and frontier AI interacting with the physical world.

Part II: Tech Dating 2026 at CIIRC CTU

Day 2: 3 June 2026, Wednesday – full day

From digital challenge to functional solution. From idea to implementation. There are many paths to innovation, and together we will find the right one.
Open Day for companies – Interactive format with consultation opportunities.

Organized by CIIRC CTU, RICAIP, AI-MATTERS/TEF, and EDIH CTU (possibly CZAI), in cooperation with NCP4.0, CzechInvest, AMSP, and other organizations.
Uniqueness of the event – in one place, you will get an overview, consultations, specific examples, trends, etc. – from entities that are not meeting for the first time, but will be acting as a single point of contact.

Who is the event for?

This event is designed for companies that:

  • want to implement digital technologies, automation, and AI in their operations
  • are looking for specific solutions to real operational challenges
  • want to better understand the tools, support programmes, and partners available for innovation

Companies join the innovation journey at very different stages. Some are just beginning to explore digital transformation, while others already have experience with advanced technologies.

Company size does not matter. Whether you are a small firm taking the first steps or an established company developing advanced solutions, the event is open to you. It also does not matter whether you arrive with a clearly defined problem or simply a sense that “something in the company needs to change.”

What is the main idea of the event?

The message of the event is simple:

We help companies navigate the path of digital transformation.
From identifying a challenge, through designing and testing possible solutions, to supporting their implementation in practice.

To achieve this, we bring together:

  • the cutting-edge research infrastructure and testbeds of CIIRC CTU
  • practical support instruments such as EDIH, AI-MATTERS, CZAI, CzechInvest, API and programmes of the Ministry of Industry and Trade
  • professional platforms and initiatives including NCP4.0 and AMSP

This ecosystem allows companies to innovate with lower risk, real business impact, and at a pace that matches their capabilities.

How does the event work?

Tech Dating 2026 consists of two complementary parts:

Consultation sessions
Companies can discuss their challenges directly with experts, explore possible technological approaches, and identify suitable support instruments.

Practical demonstrations
Technology demonstrations are not the goal in themselves. Their role is to show that solutions already exist and to inspire companies with concrete examples of how these technologies can be applied in practice.

Together, these two parts create a space where companies can move from questions to concrete steps toward innovation.
