In 2020 and 2021, the Goethe-Institut will implement the large-scale project “Generation A=Algorithm“, in which technical developments in the field of artificial intelligence will be highlighted and at the same time critically reflected upon. RICAIP together with one of its four founding partners, CIIRC CTU, are one of 13 four-week residencies in 11 European countries for young artists from Europe (EU countries and UK).
Young visual artists under 30 years of age are encouraged to apply for the residency and use the opportunity to create and exhibit artistic works in the context of artificial intelligence.
At Prague residency, the artists will get the chance to meet “all faces of AI” – from our main domain, which is Industry 4.0 applications, mainly AI and industrial robotics, to machine learning, computer vision, intelligent and autonomous robots, to chatbots and grounds of “strong AI”.
Moreover, the artists will see also existing state-of-the-art technological equipment of our labs, including the 3D print centre where the CIIRC RP95-3D protective half-mask has been developed in reaction to the corona crisis.
Deadline for applications: 15 September 2020.
