Technological literacy I/2024

On 12 and 13 March 2024, the National Centre for Industry 4.0, in cooperation with ŠKODA AUTO a.s. and the Technology Literacy Platform, will welcome hundreds of primary and secondary school students as part of an educational event on modern technologies.

The free lecture for primary and secondary school students will give students an insight into the world of modern technology. The event aims to show students that technology is not boring and that they can be a key part of the technological revolution.

During the two days of lectures held at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics, students will learn about various topics such as electromobility, artificial intelligence, 5G networks, the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber security and many more. The lectures are followed by interactive tours of the RICAIP Testbed for Industry 4.0 at the CTU CIIRC and the Small Robotics Lab. The aim of this educational event is to increase the attractiveness of technical disciplines and show that technology can be interesting and inspiring.

Who is the event for?

The event is intended for primary and secondary school students and its objectives of participation in the educational event are:

  • To increase the attractiveness of technical fields.
  • Introduction of modern technologies.
  • Demonstration of RICAIP Testbed CIIRC CTU and interactive collaborative robotic laboratory.
