Thanks to an intensive involvement of RICAIP partner DFKI, we are pleased to invite you to a dedicated expert workshop on “ADR Research for European Manufacturing Sector’s Resilience” held in hybrid form on 5 February under the coordination of DFKI, organised by the European AI, Data and Robotics Association (ADRA), in collaboration with the Horizon Europe project Adra-e.
This workshop is part of a series preparing for the European Convergence Summit 2025 (ECS2025), a major event aimed at shaping the future of Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Robotics (ADR) research in Europe, with a focus on resilience and competitiveness during crises.

European AI, Data and Robotics Association (ADRA) and Horizon Europe project adra-e organise the European Convergence Summit 2025 (ECS2025) as the full-blown face-to-face event in Brussels on April 09, 2025.

In order to prepare the policy-level dialogue, Adra-e organises the series of expert workshops on February 5-6, 2025, will be held to collect the community opinions about future research directions relevant to the topic of Resilience, policy-level challenges and enablers influencing the ARD research landscape. Each workshop will take half a day (not more than 3 hours) covering the following 4 themes:

  • Defense
  • Europe’s resilience in Manufacturing
  • Europe’s resilience in Health
  • Civil protection

The ECS is a high-level event that aims to bring together influential figures from various backgrounds to support co-programming of the Artificial Intelligence, Data and Robotics (ADR) European partnership, define orientations for ADR research and innovation in Europe with respect to socioeconomic issues, and build a consensus among stakeholders. ECS2025 will be focused on how ARD technologies can support and enable the Europe’s resilience and competitiveness in various crisis situations.
