Come take a look at the CPIT TL3 Testbed laboratories at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at VŠB–TUO. We’ll show you our state-of-the-art facilities, where technologies for industry, mobility, and healthcare are developed and tested. We’d be happy to introduce you to specific projects, industrial partners, and opportunities for collaboration.
At the Smart Factory, you’ll get a glimpse into a fully automated production environment featuring industrial robots, digital twins, and virtual reality. You’ll see a robotic production line in action, as well as advanced control systems, data collection, and applications of artificial intelligence and predictive maintenance.
At the Mobility Lab, we focus on developing and testing technologies that accelerate the development and research of European autonomous and connected mobility. The lab offers HIL/PIL/SIL/VIL simulations, the development of automated control systems, as well as Drive-by-Wire and Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) technologies. You will learn about the development of systems that are shaping the future of transportation.
Health Lab is a unique residential laboratory for testing medical and assistive technologies in a real-life home environment. The fully functional apartment serves as a research infrastructure for testing under conditions close to everyday life.
Protolab – 3D printing laboratories – You will enter the world of modern additive technologies and see how prototypes of new solutions for the industry of the future are created using multi-material printing technologies for metals, polymers, and composite materials. You’ll get to know an environment where research, education, and industrial practice converge, and where ideas are born that bring the concept of Industry 4.0 into the real world.
