The RICAIP Steering Committee (SC) is the highest RICAIP body. It ensures that RICAIP’s purpose and objectives are maintained, that RICAIP develops effectively and successfully, and that its financial management is sound.
In addition, the SC also sets the directions for RICAIP’s activities and decides on the concept and strategy for its development including new consortium members. Decisions of the RICAIP Steering Committee are binding upon the parties to the agreement.
RICAIP Director
The RICAIP Director is the main executive body of RICAIP. The one that decides on all RICAIP matters, except for those that fall under the Steering Committee (SC) or Executive Board (EB).
The RICAIP Director is appointed by the Scientific Director of CIIRC CTU, based on the results of a selection procedure and with the approval of the SC.
Executive Board
The RICAIP Executive Board (EB) proposes the directions for RICAIP’s activities, approves RICAIP’s budget and its modifications and the medium-term outlook for RICAIP’s budget, approves RICAIP’s annual report and makes proposals for changes to the arrangement of the RICAIP consortium. The EB members are responsible for the implementation of RICAIP’s strategy and the decisions taken by the Steering Committee. The EB supports RICAIP by fulfilling the obligations to the European Commission, managing and supervising the scientific and technical progress in RICAIP. The EB is responsible for coordinating various educational activities, training and dissemination.
