The demonstrator of modular production has been developed for an engineering fair to enhance the visibility of RICAIP Testbed in the context of the National Center for Industry 4.0 ecosystem of partners. It comprises the principles of flexible modular production and utilises the 5G private campus network to transmit control signals over PROFINET as well as images from cameras. It contains open data interfaces OPC UA and MQTT to connect the robotic cell to an above-lying manufacturing execution system to perform the production, as well as to a data platform to perform data acquisition and analysis.
