Research focus: Ultrasonic clamp-on flow meter
I am a dedicated researcher at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics, and Cybernetics (CIIRC), where my main focus is the development of an ultrasonic clamp-on flow meter. My passion lies in hardware development, and I enjoy the challenge of bringing my ideas to life through code.
My flow meter is designed to communicate via narrowband IoT, allowing for seamless integration into modern infrastructure. In addition to my work on the flow meter, I am also involved in the mobile RoboBar project, where I assist with 3D modeling.
My other interests are in 3D printing and 3D modeling, which allows me to quickly prototype and test my designs. These skills have been invaluable in my research and development work at CIIRC.
My goal is to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible with hardware development, and to use my skills to make a positive impact in the world. Through my work, I hope to inspire and educate others about the potential of engineering and technology.
What is your personal motivation for a research career?
My personal motivation for a research career is the opportunity to continually improve my hardware development skills. I am driven by the challenge of creating innovative solutions to complex problems. Research allows me to push the boundaries of what is possible with technology, and to stay at the forefront of the field. I am excited to continue learning and growing as a hardware developer through my research career.
Where are you headed next?
After completing my studies, I plan to apply the skills and knowledge I have gained at CVUT FEL and CIIRC to a career in industry. I am excited to use my expertise in hardware development to create innovative solutions. Whether it’s working on cutting-edge technology or finding new ways to solve old problems, I am eager to use my skills to make a difference. I am also looking forward to continuing to learn and grow as an engineer in a fast-paced and dynamic industry
How would you encourage young people to become interested in STEM fields and science careers?
To encourage young people to pursue STEM careers, I highlight the joy of solving hard problems and creating something useful. STEM careers offer endless opportunities to be a part of groundbreaking discoveries and innovations
